Dr Raphael Viscarra Rossel: Soil scientist - pedometrics, proximal soil sensing

Dr Viscarra Rossel works within the Agricultural Sustainability Initiative at CSIRO Land and Water, and is responsible for developing pedometric and proximal soil sensing techniques to improve the management of Australian soils, landscapes and the environment.

Water resource protection: improving the management and quality of urban water

CSIRO’s Water Resources Protection team can conduct research into water quality, contaminant dynamics, microbial processes and industrial biotechnology to assist in the management and protection of urban and industrial water resources.
